Snips and snails and puppy dog tails

There seems to be an undeniable attraction between little boys and messes. Mine have been doing a wonderful job of getting dirty, and having a lot of fun while they're at it. Sebastian was thrilled to play in the sad, little mud puddles that formed in our driveway after the first rain in over a month!!! And Noah was quiet for just a little too long, causing me to wonder just exactly what he was up to. What he was up to was chowing down on a blue crayon. As you can see, he was delighted with the results. Fortunately for me, they both love bath time so clean up isn't too much work.

Just over a year ago...

Noah came 10 weeks early, weighing 2 lbs and was 13.5 inches long. This is the first picture taken, while still in the operating room. He's come a long way and we thank God for such a healthy, happy little guy.

Happy Birthday!

I can't really get this blog started without mentioning one of the biggest events that happened recently (okay, 2 months ago, but by Rachel's time that's not that long ago :) On August 9th, Noah turned 1! We had a lot of fun celebrating at Coolidge Park with lots of family and friends, many whom were so helpful and kind a year ago when Noah decided to make his early entrance into the world. Happy Birthday little man!

Thanks to our friend, Claudette Andrews, who took so many great pictures at the party.
